Richard Koolish is the Principal
Software Architect for the Invisible Fence System (IFS). He designed and
developed the software infrastructure and conceived the acoustic compass technology for
the IFS.
Koolish has more than thirty years
experience in software engineering and was the Principal contributor on the
PanAmSat Content Delivery and Acceleration System, and many other large software
engineering projects while at BBN, a pioneering Internetworking company.
Koolish was a
systems software engineer in diverse
technologies that included multi-processor sonar systems, and
helped develop real-time capability for the BBN GP1000
and TC2000 super computers. Koolish also developed the
sensor network for a wearable computer.
Koolish has earned a degree in
Physics from MIT.
