directs Willigent's strategic marketing and communications efforts, and
serves as a key liaison to media, customers, partners and investors.
During a successful 25-year professional career, Somer has developed strong
customer champions and exceptional relationships with journalists, thought

[now part of ADP/Automatic Data Processing, Inc. (NYSE:ADP)], and Health Data Sciences
[now part of Per-Se Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq:PSTI)].
As principal of CBS Communications, Somer
has provided counsel to such groups as the National Patient Safety
Foundation and the National Alliance for Health Information Technology, and
the San Diego World Trade Center. She has
also served B2B clients in diverse verticals at ad agencies and PR firms on both coasts.
Earlier in her career, she worked as a
PR officer at Boston (University) Medical Center—later returning as a media
relations consultant—and studied journalism at BU's School of Public
Communications. A member of the Public Relations Society of America and the National Press Club (associate) for many years, she is currently a member of the Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development, and TiE.
